A little more information

Before you get started.

Can I have new windows, doors and roofline work completed as one project?

Yes. We can coordinate suitable window, door, soffit, fascia and guttering work as a combined project. Planning the adjoining details and order of work together helps avoid gaps between separate installations. Your quotation identifies the agreed products, installation work and finishing responsibilities for each part of the project.

Should I choose uPVC, aluminium or timber windows for my home?

uPVC is a practical choice for straightforward upkeep and varied styles. Aluminium often suits slim frame lines and larger contemporary glazing. Timber suits natural finishes and traditional detailing, with more attention to protective coatings. Compare the complete window specification, appearance, maintenance and survey-based quotation using our window material guide.

Which is best for a new front door: composite, uPVC or aluminium?

Composite doors offer different core constructions and a broad choice of panel designs. uPVC suits practical entrances with flexible glazing and panel layouts. Aluminium can suit a contemporary entrance coordinated with other metal frames. Compare the exact doors for appearance, security, thermal performance and price; the material name alone does not determine the best choice.

Should I replace my windows or improve the insulation first?

The priority depends on where heat loss and draughts are coming from. Draughty windows should be assessed for repair or replacement, while poorly insulated walls or roofs may need insulation improvements. Ventilation matters alongside both. We can discuss the relevant services together so the proposal addresses the problems you actually notice.

What happens at a free survey for windows, doors or home improvements?

The survey helps establish the existing condition, openings, access and work you want completed. We discuss suitable products and finishes before preparing a quotation for the agreed scope. Send your postcode, a brief description and any useful photographs beforehand, including concerns about draughts, drainage or surrounding repairs.

What warranty comes with your windows, doors and roofline work?

Our windows and doors have a 10-year warranty, with two years for glass and hardware or door furniture. Our Further Services work, including full soffit, fascia and guttering replacement, is also covered by our 10-year warranty. Keep the written terms and completion documents for your agreed work.
